The Pokemon Company recently opened up a pop-up Pokemon shop in London. This is the first of its kind in the UK, so be sure to check it out if you’re in the area!
Whether you’re looking for a unique souvenir or just want to add to your collection of Pokemon merchandise, there’s something here for everyone. Plus, the Pokemon Center also offers exclusive items that are only available in this location.
Pokemon Center in London opens to the public at Westfield Shepherd’s Bush, Ariel Way on Friday 18th October through to November 15th 2019. There will be plenty of merch available, including exclusive UK-themed products, as well as new releases from all the major Nintendo brands.
There’s a range of Pokemon products, from shirts and mugs to consoles and more. Fans will also be able to get their hands on a new demo for the upcoming Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield games, which will allow them to get an advance look at the Galar region!
A selection of exclusive items will also be available, including a bowler hat Pikachu plush, playmat and pin badge. You’ll be able to pick these up at the Pokemon Center for £49.99, or for £50 from the official Pokemon website.
More info about the Pokemon Center at ExCeL in London can be found on their website, and online reservations are now available for those who want to attend. However, if you’re keen to visit the Pokemon Center in London this time around, you’ll need to be prepared for a long queue!
The Pokemon Company is taking the same approach as last year and offering time slot reservations, so you can avoid a repeat of the disastrous queues of 2019 that saw attendees wait over six hours to get into the pop-up store. Those who register now will be able to book their timeslot for the week of Pokemon Center London, but they’ll be limited to three people per reservation, and will need to arrive at the store early in order to claim their spot.
In addition to the exclusive merch, there will be photo opportunities and themed areas for visitors to explore. In the event of a product shortage or a limited supply, the Pokemon Company will offer a free gift to all visitors, and there’ll be a chance to participate in a special raffle with prizes including a Nintendo Switch!
There will also be a dedicated gaming section to the Pokemon Center, which will include a Nintendo Switch console, Nintendo Switch Lite console and more. In the second room, fans will be able to get their hands on shirts and mugs from various Nintendo brands, as well as a range of exclusive items, such as Pikachu and Ludicolo plush toys.
While there are a few things that we weren’t particularly impressed with, the store itself was a decent size. It was divided into two smaller rooms, one of which was dedicated to a gaming section that offered a few different consoles. Pokemon Shop London
